The Valkyrie Press edition of Arkwright:
thumbnail cover gallery.

These are the covers from the Valkyrie press edition of the Adventures of Luther Arkwright: it's interesting to compare these to the covers of the Dark Horse edition.

Issue 1: The Disruption Spiral

Luther and Rose Wylde are attacked by Disruptor agents in Crystal Palace on Para 00.38.56

Issue 2: The Treaty of St Petersburg

Luther arrives in St Petersburg for the signing of the Treaty between King Charles, the Tzar and Archduke Willhelm of Prussia. Behind him is the Imperial Prussian command ship "Siegfried", that allegedly cost their weight in gold, and the mere sight of which keeps the Serbs and Poles in subjugation.

Issue 3: The Firefrost Principle

Octobriana tries to fend off Disruptor Rooks in the Great Pyramid of Giza, while Arkwright uses pyschometry to wrench data and images from Firefrost. The Disruptors were unaware of who Luther was - or more likely were not programmed to expect him to be there - and so after rendering both Arkwright and Octobriana unconscious they simply trans parallel teleport Firefrost away and do not harm them further.

Issue 4: Black Tuesday

Luther and Harry Fairfax standing ready to receive the second wave of General Standish's Special Patrol Group at the fortified manor house in the Maze.

Issue 5: The Theatre of Cruelty

A propoganda poster of Cromwell stands behind the grim reality of Puritan Britain on Para 00-72-87

Issue 6: The Doors of Perception

Luther dies for the first time.

Issue 7: Destiny's Angel

Luther takes up his appointed role as an agent of destiny, and prepares to telekinetically propel himself from St Pauls Cathedral to the room where the Puritan cabinet are meeting in an attempt to assasinate them all.

Issue 8: The Battle of London

The Battle of London at it's height, with Rose Wylde dressed as Brittania and leading the Daughters of Albion, Luther about to lob a "Pankhurst cocktail" and Harry Fairfax snarling as he downs another Puritan.

Issue 9: The Hand of God

Luther dies for the second time.

Arkeology

The fanzine that was published after the series finished due to reader demand for more material on Luther and his multiverse.
