Bryan's spoof biography, written as though he were a dissident writer in another parallel world where his experiences would have produced the stories of the Adventures of Luther Arkwright and Heart of Empire - together with Bryan's notes on how, why, where and when the spoof came to be written.

 
Biographies
  The biographies of all of the people involved in the creation of the comic and of this CD: Bryan Talbot, SMS, Angus McKie, Ellie DeVille, and James Robertson. Also contains Bryan's full stripography.
 
Annotations
  Here are Bryan's notes, explaining all aspects of the historical, architectural, cultural, mytical references included in the comic. Everything you ever wanted to know about Heart of Empire is here.
   
The Directory of Additional Illustrations
  This is a single page listing all of the extra illustrations on the CD used as references or for inspiration by Bryan when creating Heart of Empire.
 
Pencils
  This section contains a link to almost every pencil version of every page in Heart of Empire.
 
Inks
  This section contains a link to almost every inked version of every page in Heart of Empire.
 
Colours
  This section contains every single final colour page from Heart of Empire, exactly as they were printed, including the page bleed-offs. From each colour page you can go straight to the relevant page of notes, pencils or inks, or you can scroll in a linear fashion through the entire story.
 
High resolution colours
  This section contains all of the colour pages in very high resolution indeed, so that each page can be read in the fullest detail possible. Because of the size of each of these images, the standard navigation bar on the left of every page has been removed - but the standard footer navigation is still there.
