The Bryan Talbot Gallery:
Thumbnail Gallery 15

This gallery contains the latest pictures sent to me by Bryan for inclusion on the site, and as ever they comprise an eclectic mix. Don't forget the comprehensive list of galleries on the site, and also the list of every image on the site on a single page. As ever, click on the thumbnail sized images to see them at full size.

What Right?

Bryan's image of The Censor has been used as the cover of a book on censorship - appropriately enough; this is the press release

What Right?
The two volumes of What Right? are graphic interpretations of what it means to live in a society where we presumably enjoy the right to free speech, and what happens when, as often happens, that right is challenged. Each book includes an introduction by Mark Macdonald.

Arkwright in Tibet

This is a special treat: never before seen: the first panel of Arkwright in Tibet, the whole picture, behind the panels and off the page.

Clicking on the image goes to a mid sized version: but there is also a HUGE version online: but beware the horizontal scrolling and large download!

Alice in Sunderland

This is a sneak preview of what Bryan is currently working on... I will post more info here on the site - in particular the news page - as soon as Bryan releases it....

Mallard Arkwright

Bryan simply sent this to me with a note saying "a sketch for a fan!"

Now there MUST be a story behind this... if whoever requested this from Bryan wants to tell me it, I will gladly publish it here!

Batman

A fellow fan emailed me this set of four pics by Bryan, with a note saying:

"I don't know if you'd be interested in the attached for your site. Bryan did some cover work in the early '80s for a UK published series which collected together classic DC comics superhero reprints. If the quality of these scans is a bit dodgy it's because the comics themselves are a bit elderly and well read. I'm afraid I can't do much about the text boxes either... sorry! Hope they're useful."

So let me make a public thank you to Dave, and provide a link to his own site, the wonderfully titled Planet of Doom!

Batgirl and Supergirl

Another of the pics mailed to me, this time of Batgirl and Supergirl.

Green Arrow

Another of Bryan's early '80's pieces for DC, of Green Arrow.

Hawkman and Batman

The last one of Bryan's work for DC from the early '80's, of Hawkman and Batman.

Arzach

Arzach, the pterodactyl riding character created by Moebius, as drawn by Bryan.

The Gentleman Ghost

"The Gentleman Ghost" (co. DC Comics Inc) is in Hawkman Secret Files, just published this month.

Dongo Dere

"Dongo Dere" (don't blame me for the title, I just drew it!) was done for an Italian card collection.
