Band of Gypsys
 

Here's Bryan's first piece of freelance illustration of 2005 - the frontispiece to "Band of Gypsys", the next and penultimate volume in Gwyneth Jones' "Bold As Love" series of Rock SF novels.

The sculpture in the background is the tomb of Oscar Wilde in Paris' Pere Lachaise cemetery. You may wonder about the spelling: each book's title is taken from a Jimi
Hendrix song or album and "gypsys" is how it was spelt on the record's original release.
